Geburtshaus Ingolstadt is a place to turn to and a place to meet — for pregnant women, women hoping to conceive, women in the weeks after birth, new families, young families who have just moved to the area, and anyone looking for company and knowledgeable advice during this remarkable time…
At the birth centre you will find knowledgeable advice — from experienced midwives and other specialists such as naturopaths and therapists. During pregnancy and well beyond it, shaped around your own questions and needs.
We are with you through the remarkable time of pregnancy, we help you find the right place for your birth, and we stay with you in the weeks that follow.
If you would like to have your baby at the birth centre, two experienced midwives will walk that journey with you.
We also care for you in the weeks after birth — wherever you gave birth.
After the birth you will find plenty on offer here: postnatal recovery classes, a breastfeeding group and milk café, nappy-free workshops, baby massage, follow-up checks, one-to-one breastfeeding support and much more…
We work in several languages
We offer care and advice in English, Italian and French as well.

Friendly, professional and compassionate midwives with combined over 60 yrs experience in natural birth are here to accompany you on your exciting journey.
We all are unique, every relationship, every woman, every pregnancy and every baby. That is reflected in the individual care you can expect from us. We provide a wholistic approach, based on your individual needs and on our medical knowledge and experience.
We are a team of experienced midwives and will accompany you (and your partner) on your very own individual journey through pregnancy and the birth of your baby; and once your baby has arrived we are there to support you any way you need/wish, from baby checks to breastfeeding support. We have close links to other healthcare providers, from obstetricians to osteopaths, to facilitate the most appropriate care for you.
We offer guidance and care also in English, Italian, and French.

Our experienced midwives are with you through the birth, skilled and calm. If a transfer to hospital becomes necessary, we make sure the handover is safe and smooth — without unnecessary haste or uncertainty.

You already know the midwives who will be with you at the birth — you met them during your pregnancy, and they stay at your side in the weeks that follow. Care without breaks, from people you trust.

If a transfer to hospital becomes necessary, we are well prepared for it. We work closely with Klinikum Ingolstadt to ensure a safe transition.
